The medical staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Galveston consists of physicians and surgeons prominent in their specialties. They are leaders in the fields of acute burn injury treatment and rehabilitation. The Galveston hospital is equipped and staffed to treat the following: acute burns, reconstructive surgery as a result of “healed” burns and severe scarring and deformity of the face.
Attending physicians also hold teaching appointments to many local colleges and universities. Visiting physicians and surgeons are available as needed to insure the finest, most up-to-date medical care is available to our patients.
