Today, CBS13 / CW31 in Sacramento kicked-off Change for Change public awareness campaign to raise funds to support the specialized pediatric care provided by Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
Executives from Wells Fargo Bank walked a giant check to the hospital, representing its commitment to the Change for Change and the treatment, teaching and research provided by Shriners Hospitals for Children. Throughout the two-week campaign, Change for Change sponsors will host fundraising events to raise awareness and funds to benefit the hospital. Hospital patients and parents will also tell their stories on television throughout the campaign.

April 18- Campaign Kick Off with Wells Fargo Bank
Activity: Wells Fargo will be presenting Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California with a HUGE check for $20,000. Wells Fargo employees will carry the HUGE check from the Wells Fargo branch at 5700 Folsom Blvd to the hospital (A distance is 1.6 miles).

April 19: Papa Murphy’s Pizza My Heart for Shriners’ Kids
Fundraiser: Papa Murphy’s sells $5 heart-shaped pepperoni or cheese pizzas. All proceeds go to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Time: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
April 21: Panera Easter Cookies
Activity: Panera will bring cookie samples to the hospital for kids to decorate in a coordinated activity
Fundraiser: 10% of all cookie sales will be contributed to Shriners Hospitals for Children

April 22: Edible Arrangements Chocolate Dipped Fruit
Fundraiser: Shriners Hospitals for Children receives $10 from each sale of $20 boxes of chocolate-dipped fruit (usually $25). Order for Easter.

Fundraiser: Papa Murphy’s sells a S’more pizza for $4. All proceeds go to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
