(CINCINNATI) Hoxworth Blood Center, along with Montgomery Inn and Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, are challenging Cincinnati-area charitable nonprofit organizations to recruit blood donors for the Bleed for a Cause challenge. The top charity will win $10,000. The challenge begins on February 1 and runs through February 28, 2013, at 11:59 p.m.
Donate blood at any of Hoxworth’s eight centers or community drives and mention you are donating in support Shriners Hospitals for Children®. Charities earn points for recruiting blood donors and for the type of blood donation made.
Supporters can donate blood anywhere in the Hoxworth service area, which includes 17 counties in Southeastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Southwestern Ohio
All donors are asked to schedule an appointment by calling Hoxworth at 513-451-0910 or by visiting www.hoxworth.org.
