Firefighters to be recognized on March 7, 2012
Syrian Shriners and Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Cincinnati are pleased to announce the 11th annual Syrian Shrine Firefighters Awards.
“Shriners International and Shriners Hospitals for Children have an excellent relationship with firefighters, and are grateful for their efforts to educate the public on fire safety,” said Ken Harper, this year’s Syrian Shriners potentate. “We applaud our local firefighters' work and want to recognize their effort in our communities every day.”
Syrian Shriners is the Cincinnati chapter of Shriners International, which founded and continues to support Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Awards are presented in three categories: Burn Prevention, Leadership, and Heroism. The recipients and all nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati on Wednesday, March 7, at 7 p.m.
