Parking

All family members and other visitors should park in the free parking structure underneath the Hospital. Please do not park in the OHSU lots – you will be charged to park there. Shriners Hospitals for Children® does not validate parking.

Wheelchair vehicle spaces are provided on all levels of the parking structure. Oversize vehicles may park on P4 (top deck of our parking structure). This parking area has a separate entrance from the street level at the north end of the building. To access the P4 area, proceed past the main parking entrance, turn right at the statue of the Shriner and child, and continue north past the flagpoles. The P4 parking area is the first lot on the right hand side. To access the parking structure or P4, push the call button at the parking gates. Unfortunately, we do not have adequate space to accommodate RVs.

Directions

From the west
• Take Hwy. 26 east towards Portland.
• After passing “Oregon Zoo” exit, get in the right lane and follow the signs to “The Dalles/Salem” • (I-405 South).
• After passing through the tunnel, stay to the right.
• Take the 6th Avenue exit (1C) and get in the far right lane.
• Turn right onto 6th Avenue South following signs towards Terwilliger Blvd.
• Continue going straight and the road will change names to Sam Jackson Park Road.
• The hospital is the first building on the right as you are coming up the hill.

From the east
• Take I-84 west towards Portland.
• After passing “Lloyd Center” exit, get in the left lane and follow signs to “Salem” (I-5 South).
• As you cross the bridge, merge into one of the two left lanes, following the signs to City Center/Beaverton.
• Take the 6th Avenue exit (1C).
• Immediately move to the left lane and turn onto College Street (or the next possible street that • allows a left turn).
• Turn left onto Broadway and move to the right lane.
• Turn right onto 6th Avenue South following signs towards Terwilliger Blvd.
• Continue going straight and the road will change names to Sam Jackson Park Road.
• The hospital is the first building on the right as you are coming up the hill.

From the south
• Travel north on I-5.
• Take exit 297 (Terwilliger Boulevard). Move to the right lane.
• Turn left at stop light onto Terwilliger Boulevard.
• Continue on Terwilliger Blvd. (several miles) until the street ends
• Turn left on Sam Jackson Park Road.
• The hospital is the first building on the right as you are coming up the hill.

From the north
• Travel south on I-5, take I-405 South exit (302B).
• Crossing the bridge, stay left to I-405 South.
• From I-405, take the 6th Ave. exit (1C) and get in the far right lane.
• Turn right onto 6th Avenue South following signs towards Terwilliger Blvd.
• Continue going straight and the road will change names to Sam Jackson Park Road.
• The hospital is the first building on the right as you are coming up the hill.

Public Transportation (Bus)
• Take Tri-Met bus #8 Jackson Park from downtown Portland.
