Parking

Free parking is available next to the hospital and across the street. Please do not leave valuables visible in your car and be sure to lock it. RV’s, campers and trailers may not be parked on the hospital property overnight.

Directions

From the south on I-49
Headed northbound on I-49 from south Louisiana, proceed into Shreveport and take exit 205 to Kings Highway. Stay in the left lane headed down offramp towards Kings Highway. Take a left turn at the light onto Kings, proceeding underneath I-49. Move immediately into the left turn lane to turn left onto Samford Avenue – this is the first light after passing under I-49. Shriners Hospitals for Children – Shreveport sits at the corner of Samford Ave. and Kings Hwy. After turning left onto Samford, take the first driveway to the right to enter the property. Free parking is available along the right (north) side of the building, or in the lots directly across from the hospital on Samford.

From the north on Highway 1 or Highway 71
Traveling southbound into Shreveport, Highway 1 and Highway 71 merge together just north of Shreveport, forming North Market St./1/71. Take North Market St. into downtown Shreveport, and follow signs to merge onto I-20 west from North Market. After merging onto I-20 westbound, prepare to exit 17B onto I-49 south towards Alexandria. Merge onto I-49, and prepare to take the first exit for Kings Highway (exit 205). Stay in the right offramp lane and merge right onto Kings Highway. Immediately move to the far left turning lane in order to turn left at the first light (Samford Ave.). Shriners Hospitals for Children – Shreveport sits at the corner of Samford Ave. and Kings Hwy. From the east or west on I-20
Proceed into Shreveport on I-20, and exit 17B to take I-49 southbound towards Alexandria. Take the first exit off I-49 for Kings Highway (exit 205).
