We are happy to introduce the following staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children® ― Spokane.
Terri Roark: Certified Physician Assistant
Terri Roark received her undergraduate degree in biology from Whitworth University and her graduate degree and physician assistant education from Duke University Medical Center with a Master’s in health sciences. She specializes in orthopaedics and comes to the the hospital from Duke University Medical Center, Northwest Orthopaedics in Seattle and most recently Advanced Surgical Orthopaedics here in Spokane. She is a member of Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Washington Academy of Physician Assistants, Stead Society and Spokane County Medical Society. Ms. Roark joined the staff in 2011 and works with the orthopaedic surgeons to diagnose and care for patients with various pediatric orthopaedic conditions. Her special interests are sports medicine, knees and hands.
Julie Lockhart: Director of Development
Julie Lockhart holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and psychology and is pursuing her master’s in public administration. Julie brings over 10 years of fundraising and development experience, most recently with the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation where she was the manager of development.
Michele Dieter, RN: Inpatient Manager
Michele has worked on the inpatient floor for at Shriners Hospitals for Children ― Spokane for over 22 years. For the last 12 years, Michele has been the Inpatient Services Supervisor. She was recently promoted to inpatient manager. Michele leads the pamidronate infusion program for osteogenesis imperfecta at the hospital and is the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators coordinator. She is a member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses and PALS certified.
