A walking miracle

Adam Yenish and his wife, Danielle, carried a portfolio filled with ultrasound images of their unborn son’s motionless feet and wrists to over twenty hospitals, clinics and offices, desperate for an answer. They were met with confusion. Then they met Dr. van Bosse.

Plan in motion

Dr. Harold van Bosse diagnosed their son, Anthony John, with arthrogryposis, a rare congenital disorder causing joints to stiffen. When A.J. was born, his hands and feet were severely contracted, but they already had a plan in place, and A.J. began receiving treatment just twenty days after he was born.

“This is about recognizing a wonderful hospital and the doctors. It's about recognizing greatness. This is truly one of those miracles.”
- Adam Yenish, A.J.’s father
