Shriners Hospitals for Children is a highly specialized pediatric surgical care hospital located in downtown Boston and is considered one of the world’s preeminent hospitals in the treatment of children with severe burn injuries and complex skin conditions. Affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and verified by a joint program of the American Burns Association and the American College of Surgeons, Shriners Hospitals for Children meets all of the demanding standards for organizational structure, personnel qualifications, facilities resources and medical care services to ensure the best possible outcomes evidenced by scientific empirical data from a fifteen year multi-center benchmarking outcomes study. The Boston Shriners Hospital provides orthopaedic surgical procedures, as well as plastic reconstructive surgery including cleft lip and palate.
