Care options

We deliver the highest quality of care to children with a host of orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

The research center

The Center for Metabolic Bone Disease and Molecular Research (referred to as “The Research Center”) provides a variety of services to children with bone disorders caused by nutritional, chemical, or glandular problems - metabolic in nature. These disorders are often genetically transmitted, passed down from generation to generation.

Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis is ranked in the top 10 pediatric orthopaedic hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for the fourth consecutive year. The hospital is co-listed as #10 in pediatric orthopaedics with Washington University as part of St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s listing.

Being ranked in the magazine's annual survey is a distinction given to only 80 children's hospitals in the
United States.
