Atlas of Amputations and Limb Deficiencies

Congratulations to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Portland’s Joseph Ivan Krajbich, M.D., on the publication of Atlas of Amputations and Limb Deficiencies! The book, published by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, details the advances and new developments in surgical and prosthetic treatment and management of limb deficiencies in adults and children. Atlas of Amputations and Limb Deficiencies will be the leading and definitive reference on the surgical and prosthetic management of both acquired and congenital limb loss, giving insight into the advances of high-tech surgical techniques and prosthetic solutions. 

In the three-volume book, the recognized experts in the fields of limb reconstruction, amputation surgery, rehabilitation and prosthetics, present information to help guide both the patients and treating professionals in the up-to-date treatment options available to patients for all levels of limb deficiencies. Volume 3 of the publication is dedicated solely to conditions affecting the pediatric population.
