Hospitals for Children — Twin Cities is a specialized hospital offering volunteer positions in physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, and our child life departments. Volunteer placement is based on matching your abilities, interests and availability with the needs of our hospital. Volunteer shifts run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We cannot guarantee open positions all the time, but we work hard to align your talents and interests with your volunteer position to ensure a meaningful volunteer experience.
Groups sometimes provide one-time activity sessions for our inpatients or in our hospital clinic. If you are a group looking to volunteer, please contact our volunteer coordinator whose information may be found at the bottom of this page.
If you are interested in applying to become a volunteer you may download a Volunteer Application. Applications may be printed, completed legibly by hand and mailed, or completed on the computer and e-mailed to the volunteer coordinator listed on the application.
If an appropriate volunteer position is available you will be contacted for a phone interview. If no appropriate openings are available when your application is received we will keep your application on file for three months.
