Any child age 18 or under is eligible for care so long as the child’s condition is within the scope of services provided. All children are treated regardless of the families' ability to pay.

Patients are routinely transferred, transported and admitted to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston’s pediatric intensive care unit directly from hospitals or physicians’ offices.
Our registered nurse supervisor or attending physician will coordinate with you to facilitate the urgent transfer of your patient to the Boston Shriners Hospital.
