Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston embraces a culture of care that respects the rights, needs and safety of all patients and families. Our professional team will ensure you receive appropriate education regarding your child’s condition, treatment and ongoing care needs. Patients and families are encouraged to share their questions and concerns with the care teams.
If within three weeks of your admission date your child experiences any of the following conditions, please call our outpatient clinic at 617-371-4529 Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m to speak with a nurse.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany your child on the day of admission. If custody is granted to one parent by the courts, a copy of this court order will also be needed for our records. The papers must be in English.
When you arrive at the hospital, please check in at the reception desk in the lobby. Do not go directly to a patient care unit.
