At Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia, we provide state-of-the-art medical care and rehabilitation for children with spinal cord injuries, as well as a host of orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal disorders and diseases. Surveys are provided to our patients to fill out, based on Press Ganey – a leader in the health care industry, helping hospitals transform the patient experience and create continuous, sustainable improvement. Patient satisfaction scores in our inpatient and outpatient areas regarding the likelihood of patients to recommend the hospital to others, has consistently been at or above 96 percent over the past two years. During that same time, we have maintained a score of 97.9 percent regarding the likelihood of patients recovering from surgery to recommend the hospital.

Infection prevention and control is paramount to any hospital. At Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia, we have sustained a rate of zero for both central line blood stream infections and ventilator acquired pneumonia since 2013.
