Michael Dettorre, D.O.
Michael Dettorre, D.O., is an intensivist for Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. He received an undergraduate degree in natural science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Dettorre completed his residency in pediatrics at the Medical Center of Delaware and a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center/St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Areas of special interest to Dr. Dettorre include chronic ventilator dependent respiratory failure and phrenic nerve pacemakers.
Dr. Dettorre is a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified instructor. He is also the director of the PA Ventilator Camp.
