Sarah Nossov, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia. Dr. Nossov received her undergraduate degree in fine arts and minor in computer science from Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York. She then enrolled in a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Goucher College, Towson, Maryland. She earned her medical degree as a distinguished scholar at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Dr. Nossov completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Michigan Health System, Ann Arbor, Michigan, prior to her fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her medical education afforded her the privilege to volunteer both domestically and abroad during Hurricane Katrina and resource limited countries Guatemala, Burkina Faso and Malawi.
Dr. Nossov is interested in lower extremities, including hip diseases like Perthes and developmental hip dysplasia, lower extremity deformity, arthrogryposis and congenital and acquired foot problems.
Dr. Nossov’s affiliations include American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) and Health Volunteers/Overseas Orthopaedics Overseas.
