We are committed to making your child’s stay with us as stress-free as possible, beginning at the time of your arrival. The evening before surgery, please call 801-536-3510 after 5 p.m. for the admission time to come to the hospital. Please stop at registration downstairs to complete admissions paperwork and then proceed upstairs to the nursing unit. You will be met by the admission nurse, who will review your child’s health history. Although the health history review may seem repetitive, your answers help us provide your child with the best care possible.
Each patient is assigned a nurse to care for him or her. The nurse will orient you and your child to the hospital. You may have many questions about the hospital, your child’s appointment/surgery and the care that your child will be receiving. The nursing and care management staff are always available to provide you with the information you need.
