Family and friends may visit between 6:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; and between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
All visitors must receive an ID badge at the front desk in the lobby prior to entering the inpatient area. Any visitor without an ID badge will be asked to return to the front desk to receive the appropriate badge.
Patients may receive up to three visitors at a time depending on the patient’s condition. The hospital reserves the right to limit/restrict visitation for reasons including, but are not limited to, the following:
One family member, preferably a parent/legal guardian, may room-in with the patient. Familial relationships include: grandparent, aunt, uncle, sister, brother. If no familial relationship exists, e.g. foster parents, the appropriateness of the rooming-in situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Individuals rooming-in will be required to wear a pink identification band for access to meals at no cost.
Gift deliveries from outside vendors are delivered to the hospital at the front desk. Patient visitors may take gifts directly to the patient. Mylar balloons are allowed in all areas except the special care unit. Latex balloons are not allowed due to allergy and choking hazards. Live plants or cut flowers are generally allowed in all areas except the special care unit and may be restricted if it is determined they pose a risk of spreading germs. Deliveries made to the hospital that are not allowed on the units will be kept at the front desk.
Visitors are asked to respect patient confidentiality. Videotaping, photographing or taking digital images in the hospital is prohibited unless approved by the hospital’s privacy officer and authorized by the patient.
Patients, parents and other visitors may not carry or possess any weapons or firearms at the hospital or on hospital grounds.
