Katie Aukstik, PA-C

Katie Aukstik, PA-C

Katie Aukstik, PA-C, has extensive experience in the Chicago area, previously serving as lead orthopaedic physician assistant at Northshore University Health System for adults and children in outpatient and surgical settings, with an emphasis on spine surgeries. Aukstik also worked with the RUSH University Medical Center sports medicine practice. She began her career as a physical therapist treating clients in Missouri and later Chicago.

Aukstik joins a team of pediatric orthopaedic specialists at the Chicago Shriners Hospital, and enjoys the collaborative approach to care and the diagnosis process. “There is a great community at Shriners Hospital,” Aukstik said. “I look forward to getting to know the families, and to playing a role in their care and hopefully making a tough situation easier.”
