Marisa Foss, MSN, APN, CPNP

Marisa Foss, RN, MSN, CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Chicago.

She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dayton and a Master of Science in Nursing from Marquette University. Foss has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at the Chicago Shriners Hospital for more than 10 years.

Her areas of special interest include diagnosis and treatment of positional plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and various congenital ear anomalies, as well as the care of patients with cleft lip and palate, jaw differences and other craniofacial anomalies, particularly in the perioperative setting. Foss is a nurse practitioner for the pediatric plastic surgery service and also a clinical preceptor of nurse practitioner students through University of Illinois, Chicago and Rush University.
