How to wear and store a mask

Are your children comfortable with wearing a mask? Jamie, our child life specialist, demonstrates how to wear and store a mask using kid-friendly language.

You may want to watch the video with your child and discuss:

  • Ask what they know about masks.
  • Ask why we wear a mask.
  • You can explain to your child that masks help to keep their own family and others healthy and safe.

Please note: Masks are now required for everyone in our hospital building. You will be given a mask to wear if you do not wear your own when coming for appointments. For the latest on our COVID-19 visitor information, see our Coronavirus information page.
