Schottler named ASIA fellow

Schottler named ASIA fellow

The American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) has selected Jennifer Schottler, MPT, as a fellow. Schottler is a physical therapist currently working as a clinical research coordinator at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Chicago. Ms. Schottler has worked on a variety of clinical research studies involving children and adolescents with spinal cord injuries and scoliosis. She previously worked in the rehabilitation department as the spinal cord injury lead, evaluating and treating patients.

Fellowship in the American Spinal Injury Association (FASIA) is given in recognition of distinguished accomplishment within the fields of spinal cord injury research, clinical practice, education and advocacy, and for a longstanding membership of service to the society.

Schottler, who serves on the ASIA Awards Committee and ASIA Communications Committee, will be pinned as a fellow at the 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans in May.
