Help us offer hope, comfort and healing to children in the community and around the world by bringing Love to the rescue.

Every gift to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Chicago is gratefully accepted and acknowledged. There are many ways to give to the hospital, which allow donors to contribute in a way that is meaningful and personal to them. The hospital ensures that all gifts are used in the most efficient and effective manner. Being good stewards of our financial resources is important both for providing the best patient care today and for making sure we are able to continue our mission into the future.

Direct donations

Direct donations are welcome from individuals, businesses and foundations to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Chicago.  For information about giving programs, please contact Daniel Winter in development, by email or phone at 773-385-5805.

Credit cards

Credit card donations can be made online or processed by the development office over the phone by calling 773-385-5822, or you can donate online.

Memorials or tribute gifts

Memorial or tribute gifts are gratefully received by the hospital for the benefit of our programs. Donors receive acknowledgement letters for their gifts. Notification letters are also mailed to honorees or the designated family member, informing them of gifts made in their honor or in memory of a loved one. Notification letters provide name and address information only. To establish a memorial or tribute gift, please contact the development office at 773-385-5805.


Gifts of stock or electronic cash transfers are coordinated with the development office in partnership with individuals and their financial institutions. For additional information and instructions, please contact Daniel Winter in development by email or phone at 773-385-5805.

Major and planned giving

Major and planned gifts are meaningful ways that individuals can advance hospital programs for the benefit of children. Careful planning and consideration is given to all such gifts in consultation with donors, their families and legal or wealth advisors to ensure that the donor’s wishes are met. Naming opportunities and appropriate recognition are available. Corporate matching gifts

Many companies have programs which will match the charitable donations made by their employees. We would be pleased to assist in any way necessary.

Fundraisers and special events

Fundraisers and special events positively support the hospital and may be organized by individuals, groups or businesses. If you are interested in hosting your own event in support of Shriners Hospitals or the Chicago Shriners Hospital, please begin by completing the Host Your Own Event form.

In-kind donations

New latex-free toys and other gifts-in-kind support programs throughout the hospital. Donors will be asked to complete a Gift-in-Kind form when they deliver their donation to the hospital.
