Please note that Shriners Hospitals for Children does not administer COVID-19 testing or treatment at this time. If your child has an upcoming appointment and you or your child are exhibiting a cough, fever, chills, shortness of breath or flu like symptoms, please contact your local Shriners Hospitals for Children location to reschedule the appointment.

The Cincinnati Shriners Hospital accepts gifts of specific items. We are most in need of the following:

  • Travel size board games: Sorry, Trouble, Clue, Monopoly, Yahtzee, Battleship, Connect Four
  • Diaries, stationery (for 15–18 year olds)
  • Word search, crossword puzzle books, Sudoku books, sports books, posters (especially for boys)
  • Movies and books
  • Pop & country music CDs
  • Magazines
  • Handheld electronic games, battery-operated games and games for Nintendo DS, PS3, Gameboy Advance, and Wii (all rated for everyone or teen)
  • Nerf balls
  • MP3 players – any brand
  • Small calendars
  • Wristwatches
  • Keychains
  • Disposable cameras
  • Baseball caps & t-shirts with professional/college logos (adult sizes L, XL, XXL)
  • Model car sets
  • Acrylic paint-by-number

Infants

  • Small Fisher-Price infant toys – birth to age 2 (nothing that is filled with liquid)

Due to strict infection control precautions, we can only accept new gifts.

Please keep in mind that 70 percent of our patients are boys and 50 percent of our patients are teenagers, ages 11–18.

Patient privacy regulations (HIPPA) prevent us from allowing donors to personally distribute toys to the children. Thank you for your understanding.
