Our patients have a more positive clinical outcome if referred to us as soon as a need is identified.
Children with a suspected broken bone or fracture may come to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu without an appointment on weekday mornings (except holidays). Our walk-in injury clinic for broken bones or related orthopaedic injuries, such as sports or playground injuries, is held on weekday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon. Rest assured if you arrive after noon, we will make every effort to accommodate seeing your child. One of our pediatric orthopaedic surgeons will see the child the same day. For more information, see our injury clinic page or call our main line at 808-941-4466.
If your child has a condition for which Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu offers treatment, please contact our main line at 808-941-4466. Although some of our assessment questions and health history review may seem repetitive, your answers help us provide your child with the best care possible.
Each patient is assigned a nurse to care for him or her. You may have many questions about the hospital, your child’s appointment/surgery and the care that your child will be receiving. The nursing staff is always available to provide you with the information you need.
