The medical center has complimentary underground parking. Entrance to the garage is on Hurlbut street. At the big white gate, press the security button and say you are here for an appointment. Park in an available space, take the elevator to the first floor lobby and check-in with Security. **Note - when leaving the parking garage, the garage door will open automatically once your car is close enough to it. All parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. If our garage is full, If our garage is full, there is street parking located on Hurlbut Street. There is also paid parking at Huntington Hospital, north of the medical center.
Local transportation to Shriners for Children Medical Center is provided at no charge Monday through Friday between 5:30 am and 5:30 p.m. We offer pick-up and drop-off services between our medical center and airports, hotels, bus/train stations, and the Los Angeles and Pasadena Ronald McDonald Houses. If you require such transportation, please call us at 626-389-9300 to inquire about availability and scheduling.
Public transportation is available by train, bus and taxi. Listed below are several options. Bus tokens and taxi vouchers may be available on a limited basis. Furthermore, additional transportation may be available by your local Shrine Center on a case-by-case basis. Please contact your local Shrine Center directly for additional information.
Metrolink departs from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles and reaches areas outside of Los Angeles County. Metrolink connects to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to the Gold Line that directs you to Pasadena.

Call or go online (link to www.greyhound.com) for information regarding schedules and fares. The Greyhound bus terminal is located at 1716 East 7th Street, about one mile from Union Station.
Taxi vouchers may be available on a limited basis. To use a voucher, you must arrange for pick-up with the transportation coordinator by calling 213-639-3473.
Access services provides transportation for persons with disabilities. Transportation services can only be obtained by calling and applying for access services. The process for application and approval takes approximately one month.
