Orthopaedics

Orthopaedics

For over 90 years, we have served our mission specializing in only one thing – orthopaedics. Shriners Hospitals for Children — Erie is a regional leader in orthopaedics, serving six states and Ontario. We take an interdisciplinary approach to ensure comprehensive care for each patient. We are staffed and equipped to provide care for numerous orthopaedic problems and have expanded to enhance the overall level of medical care available to patients.

Collaborative approach to care

The specialists at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Erie provide a comprehensive approach to meeting each child’s individual needs through expert evaluation and treatment. As a team working with parents or guardians, our goal is to restore each child physically, emotionally and socially. Every child is evaluated by a team of professionals who coordinate the child’s treatment. All care and services are provided regardless of the families’ ability to pay.

Conditions not listed will be considered on an individual case-by-case basis with consideration given to the expert care provided by Erie Shriners Hospitals for Children. If, during the referral/inquiry process, our clinical team determines the patient’s needs would be best met at another Shriners Hospitals for Children, the patient may be referred to that facility.
