Peter Stasikelis, M.D.

In practice for more than three decades and a pillar of the medical staff since 1997, Pete Stasikelis, M.D., is the longest-serving pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Greenville.

Dr. Stasikelis, affectionately known by his patients as “Dr. Pete,” is renowned for his expertise in infantile scoliosis and utilizes Mehta casting for treatment. In addition to spine care, Dr. Stasikelis also has special interests in limb deformities and neuromuscular diseases.

Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the G.W.N. Eggers Orthopaedic Society and the Scoliosis Research Society.

Dr. Stasikelis and his wife, Sharon, have three children. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing tennis, road biking, mountain biking and playing classical guitar.
