Chief of staff shares video message

“We miss seeing’re our reason to be”

In a heartfelt video message to the families of Shriners Hospitals for Children — Greenville, Chief of Staff Michael Wattenbarger, M.D., reminds viewers of the services still available, as well as some of the temporary changes due to the COVID-19 crisis:

  • The hospital is still open for injury care appointments, seeing patients within 48 hours
  • The hospital staff is still assisting patients with time-sensitive care, including cast change/removal and urgent medical needs
  • To limit the risk of virus exposure, patients may only be accompanied by one parent or guardian during their visit
  • Telehealth services are underway and expanding
