Andi Kubota, RN, MSN, MBA, PNP, NE-BC

Andi Kubota, RN, MSN, PNP, MBA, NE-BC, is director of patient care services and chief nurse executive for Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu. She has been with the Honolulu Shriners Hospital since 1993, has held progressively responsible roles in nursing administration, and has served three times as interim administrator. After 16 years of extensive nursing experience with The Queen’s Medical Center, Andi joined the Honolulu Shriners Hospital as a nurse clinician for the myelodysplasia program. She was then promoted to nurse clinician and care coordinator to oversee the hospital’s juvenile rheumatoid arthritis program in addition to the myelodysplasia program. She has also served as care coordination manager for five years before being named director of patient care services/chief nurse executive in December 2006.

Andi graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing degree with distinction and Master of Science degree in nursing/pediatric nurse practitioner, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In addition, she earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

She has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Hawaii’s School of School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene since April 2010.
