Brandi Blair, M.D.

Brandi Nohea Watson Blair, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu. She received her undergraduate degree in human biology from Stanford University and her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Blair returned home to Hawaii for her surgical internship and research fellowship year at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. She then completed her training in anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis and her pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Blair has a special interest in working with children and pain issues.

Dr. Blair started at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu in 2001, working as a consultant anesthesiologist for two years. She then moved to Oregon for five years, where she worked at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Children’s Hospital in Portland, performing pediatric and obstetric anesthesia and working on the acute pain service. Dr. Blair returned to Shriners Hospitals for Children once again as a consultant in 2008, splitting her time between Shriners Hospitals and Tripler Army Medical Center. In 2013, Dr. Blair became a part-time anesthesiologist at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu.

Dr. Blair is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Hawaii Society of Anesthesiologists.She is also a member of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and an assistant clinical professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, department of surgery.

Dr. Blair is married and has four children. She enjoys being involved with her children’s activities, whether she is serving as team or class mom or just chauffeuring between activities. She also enjoys outrigger canoe paddling, hiking, cooking, and going to the beach with her dogs.
