Clyde Ishii, M.D.

Clyde H. Ishii M.D., FACS, LLC, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and is the chief of plastic surgery. He has more than three decades of experience in plastic surgery and surgery of the hand, and was first appointed as a consulting member of the medical staff in 1993. Dr. Ishii received his Bachelor of Arts in biology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After obtaining his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he completed a surgical internship at University of California in San Diego. He also completed a general surgery residency at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, his plastic surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, and hand surgery fellowship at New York University in New York City.

Areas of interest include cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery and hand surgery.

Dr. Ishii is also an assistant clinical professor of surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and is an active member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Ishii is dedicated to community service and is a self-proclaimed golf fanatic. Married with three children, the Kauai native is health conscious and loves working in the yard.
