Robert Nemechek, M.D.

Robert Nemechek, M.D., is a consulting orthopaedic surgeon for Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu. He received his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco and completed residency training at the University of California Medical Center. Dr. Nemechek then served as a major of the U.S. Army Medical Corps for two years before settling into private practice on Oahu in 1970.

Dr. Nemechek joined the Shriners Hospital team in 1997. In addition to his roles on the consultant staff and medical executive committee, he also serves as an associate clinical professor for the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Nemechek is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
