Ayden's story at Shriners Hospitals for Children

Ayden's story at Shriners Hospitals for Children

Please say aloha to our patient ambassador, Ayden, and his dad, John. Ayden is part of our new radio campaign that's airing on the neighbor islands. Ayden is a 6th grader at Punahou School. He was 6-years-old and walking with a limp when a family friend suggested that he come to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Ayden was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Thanks to the great surgical care and rehabilitation at Shriners Hospital, Ayden plays center for his football team, first base for his baseball team and even keeps up with his basketball team. Last summer, Ayden traveled to Japan to compete in a national sumo tournament and had a chance to meet Hawaii's own, Musashimaru. Some day, he hopes to be a pilot and an aeronautical engineer. Ayden says he couldn't have done it without Shriners Hospital!
