Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu embraces a culture of care that respects the rights, needs and safety of all patients and families. Our professional team will ensure you receive appropriate education regarding your child’s condition, treatment and ongoing care needs. Patients and families are encouraged to share their questions and concerns with the care teams.

Health precautions

If your child has any symptoms of illness, infection, sores or rashes or has been exposed to any communicable disease (chicken pox, fever, cough, upper respiratory congestion, measles, mumps, etc.), please call our admissions office at 808-951-3616 before you come to the hospital.

Patient responsibility

A parent or legal guardian should accompany your child on the day of admission. If a parent or legal guardian is unavailable, please call the hospital at 808-941-4466 and request to speak with care management.

When you arrive at the hospital, please check in at the registration desk in the lobby. Do not go directly to a patient care unit.
