Rehabilitation services

In rehabilitation services, each patient’s program is designed to address the child’s individual needs and developmental abilities. Family involvement is highly encouraged and crucial.

Physical therapy services may include instruction in appropriate exercises to increase strength and joint motion, education to improve mobility including walking, transfers, balance and endurance.

Occupational therapy helps a child regain and build skills that are important to functioning independently. The patient’s program focuses on daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating and educational skills. It may include the fabrication of a brace or pressure garment or the training in the use of an assistive device.

Speech and language therapy strives to improve the individual child’s communication skills with a focus on family training to address specific communication deficits.

Our facility offers diverse gym equipment, therapeutic modalities and specialty assessments for custom wheelchairs.
