Allison C. Scott, M.D.

Allison C. Scott, M.D., is a staff orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Houston and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. She received an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey and earned a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Scott completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and a student fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

With over 25 years’ experience, Dr. Scott has expertise in pediatric orthopaedic surgery.  Although she treats a broad range of orthopaedic conditions her special interests are clubfoot and other congenital foot problems, orthopaedic treatment of cerebral palsy, Blount’s disease. She has multiple publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conducts presentation regularly throughout the United States, Canada and China.
