Lindsay P. Stephenson, M.D.

Lindsay P. Stephenson, M.D., is a staff orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Houston and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.  She received an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Texas Austin and earned a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Stephenson completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas in Houston and a student fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Her role at the Houston hospital is in caring for patients with multiple and varied diagnoses. Dr. Stephenson sees patients in the outpatient clinics including the hip clinic, foot clinic, lower extremity clinic, cerebral palsy clinic, orthopaedic clinic, cast clinic, osteogenesis imperfect clinic, spina bifida clinic and screening clinics. Her research involves lower extremity limb length differences and deformities and cerebral palsy. She is also interested in improving quality, safety and value in the care of pediatric orthopedic patients in medicine.  In addition to direct patient care in the clinic, operating room and inpatient units, she is also involved in resident and fellow post-graduate education.
