Rachel Murphy, MA, CCC-SLP
Rachel Murphy, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Houston. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a baccalaureate and master’s degree in speech-language pathology. While at the University of Connecticut, Rachel assisted in several research studies about traumatic brain injury in the university's Cognitive and Communicative Neuroscience Laboratory. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Rachel's areas of expertise include aphasia, traumatic brain injury, dysphagia, and cleft lip and palate.
