Presentations for health care professionals

Physicians at the Lexington Shriners Medical Center are available for grand rounds, staff in-services or to speak at conferences. Customized educational programs can also be provided by other clinical professionals (i.e., occupational therapy, physical therapy, orthotics, prosthetics, etc.). Continuing medical education

Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center — Lexington is accredited by Kentucky Medical Association to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

Observation experiences and practicums for students

Observational experiences are limited to 40 hours and are available in our Specialty Care Clinic Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include the disciplines of medicine and orthotics and prosthetics. If you have an interest in shadowing, please complete the Observation Request form and return via email to the staff development coordinator.
