Henry J. Iwinski, Jr., M.D.

Henry Iwinski, M.D., is the chief of staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center — Lexington and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a professor of pediatric orthopaedics at the University of Kentucky and serves on the Shriners Hospitals for Children national physician executive team. He received an undergraduate degree from Niagara University and earned a medical degree from Brown University. Dr. Iwinski completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Medical College of Georgia and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics and spine surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas and at Charlotte Orthopaedic Specialists.

Areas of interest to Dr. Iwinski include all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics with special interest in complex spinal deformity. His current research interests include cerebral palsy, clubfoot, and scoliosis.

Dr. Iwinski is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Scoliosis Research Society and American Academy of Pediatrics.
