James J. Wolpert, M.D.

James Joseph Wolpert, M.D., is a pediatric urologist at Pediatric Surgical Associates, Ltd., and Shriners Hospitals for Children — Twin Cities. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He received an undergraduate degree and medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Wolpert completed an internship in general surgery from St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center, as well as a residency in urology. He completed a fellowship in pediatric urology from the Henrietta Egleston Hospital for Children and Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed an extended study in pediatric urology at the Hospital Des Enfants in Marseille, France.

Area of special interest to Dr. Wolpert is pediatric urology.

Dr. Wolpert is a member of the American Urological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics - Urology Subsection, Midwest Society for Pediatric Urology, Minnesota Urological Society and Society for Fetal Urology. He also serves as an assistant professor of Urology at Mayo Medical School.
