Todd A. Milbrandt, M.D.

Todd A. Milbrandt, M.D., M.S., is an associate professor of orthopaedics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Twin Cities. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and a medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Milbrandt completed a Master of Science degree at the University of Virginia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He completed a general surgery internship and an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, as well as a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery there. He completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Milbrandt include pediatric orthopaedics, scoliosis, club feet, pediatric orthopaedic trauma, cerebral palsy, tissue engineering and outcomes research.

Dr. Milbrandt is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Scoliosis Research Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and American Orthopaedic Association.
