Shriners Hospitals for Children — Canada is a specialty orthopaedic hospital providing surgical care and rehabilitation to children with congenital conditions and complex medical needs, regardless of the families' ability to pay.

Located adjacent to the McGill University Health Center on the Glen site, the Canada Shriners Hospital treats children with orthopaedic conditions; muscular and neuromuscular conditions; metabolic and brittle bone disease, and many other surgical, medical and rehabilitation needs.

The course of care is determined individually for each patient. Each patient’s path to success is fueled by private donations and driven by excellence in treatment, teaching and research.

In addition, Shriners Hospitals for Children has been nationally recognized by Press Ganey Associates for excellence in patient satisfaction.

Shriners Hospitals for Children — Canada consistently ranks in the top decile among pediatric facilities for patient and family satisfaction. We were the recipient of the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence award for 2016, 2017 and 2018, for performance above the 95th percentile among pediatric hospitals. The Canada Shriners Hospital ranks in the 99th percentile of pediatric hospitals nationwide in overall satisfaction for 2016, 2017 and 2018.
