EcoCab owner David Jung walks perimeter of Oahu for the Honolulu Shriners

Mahalo to EcoCab Hawaii co-founder, David Jung, for supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children!

On August 22, 2015 at 6 a.m., David is embarking on a five-day long journey, walking the 130 mile perimeter of Oahu as a fundraiser for the keiki of Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu. Joining David will be his brother and EcoCab Hawaii co-founder, Scott Jung, who’s flying in from Korea.

Since 2012, EcoCab has grown from a fleet of seven hybrid cabs and 20 employees to 44 hybrid cabs and 120 employees. Included in this fleet are MV-1, which are purpose-built, wheelchair accessible vans for the disabled community.

David’s story has been featured both on Hawaii News Now Sunrise in an interview with Howard Dicus and on Jeff Chung’s K-Drama column in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
