We had an amazing day with our 21st annual Christmas in July Toy Run on Sunday, July 30. With Santa leading the way, over 600 motorcyclists from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Centurions rode down Broad Street to deliver thousands of toys for our patients during our annual Christmas in July celebration.
Shriners, families and hospital staff all gathered in the lobby to meet Santa and enjoy snacks while patients perused our pop-up toy shop and choose their Christmas gifts.
In addition to the toy donations, monetary donations have also been a part of the Centurions Motor Cycle Club, Philadelphia Chapter's annual Christmas in July Toy Run. With their donation of over $36,000 this year, they have collectively raised more than $341,000 to date. They have a permanent plaque on the Shriners Hospital donor wall.
After the toy run, riders enjoyed an after-party at the Ukrainian Club, featuring live entertainment and complimentary catering courtesy of Mission BBQ.
Thank you to everyone who came out to welcome the bikers and Santa and support our mission. We're already looking forward to next year's toy run!
