Alexander Van Speybroeck, M.D., MPH

Alexander Van Speybroeck, M.D., MPH, is director of general pediatrics for Shriners for Children Medical Center — Pasadena and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He received an undergraduate degree in biology and psychology from the University of Rochester and earned his medical degree and Master of Public Health degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and School of Public Health. Dr. Van Speybroeck completed his residency in general pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Van Speybroeck include spina bifida, muscular dystrophies, cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies, cerebral palsy, arthrogryposis, developmental disabilities and metabolic bone disease.

Dr. Van Speybroeck is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, The Spina Bifida Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
