Jonathan H. Koenig, M.D.

Jonathan H. Koenig, M.D.

Jonathan H. Koenig, M.D., is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners for Children Medical Center — Pasadena, and is board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He received his bachelor's degree from Yale University with a major in the history of science and medicine, and he earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, with subspecialty training at Boston Children's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He then completed his fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics and scoliosis surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital – University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Koenig is affiliated with Los Angeles Pediatric Orthopaedics, a private practice in Santa Monica, and has a volunteer appointment at UCLA-Santa Monica Hospital.

His interests include sports medicine, cartilage restoration, hip preservation, hip dysplasia, congenital and post-traumatic limb deformity and trauma.
