Neil F. Jones, M.D.

Neil F. Jones, M.D., is a pediatric plastic surgeon and hand surgeon at Shriners for Children Medical Center — Pasadena. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and received his medical degree from Oxford University Medical School. Dr. Jones completed his residency in general and orthopaedic surgery at Oxford University and his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan. Fellowships in hand surgery and microsurgery were completed at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the London Hospital, England. Dr. Jones served as the president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand from 2015-2016, and president of the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery from 2008-2009.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Jones include microsurgical reconstruction of the upper extremity and toe-to-hand transfers.

Dr. Jones is a Distinguished Professor of orthopaedic surgery and a Distinguished Professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, and emeritus chief of hand surgery and director of the hand surgery-microsurgery fellowship program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
