Neil F. Jones, M.D.

Neil F. Jones, M.D., is a pediatric plastic surgeon and hand surgeon at Shriners for Children Medical Center — Pasadena. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and received his medical degree from Oxford University Medical School. Dr. Jones completed his residency in general and orthopaedic surgery at Oxford University and his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan. Fellowships were completed at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the London Hospital, England. Dr. Jones is the current president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. As president of the hand society, Neil oversees the entire ASSH council and is working to further the objectives established by the ASSH.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Jones include microsurgical reconstruction of the upper extremity and toe-to-hand transfers.

Dr. Jones is affiliated with the department of orthopaedic surgery and the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Irvine, and is chief of hand surgery at the University of California Medical Center.
